LP's

Matt recently got a bunch, and I mean a BUNCH of records, or LP's if you will from his Dad. We borrowed a record player from his Gma and played some of them last night.  They sound all scratchy and cool, much more fun then cd's! Although they obviously take up a lot more closet space!

It was hilarious watching Matt take each one out of the boxes in the beginning and seeing the expression on his face when he saw what kind of music his parents used to listen to! I mean there was your usual John Denver, ABBA, The Beatles, Bread, Village People like in the pics above, which no shock value there, but when he came across Alice Cooper, The Rolling Stones, and The Doors we couldn't believe it!

It was like looking into a window of who Matt's parents used to be when they were in college. I have no doubt though one day our kids will be surprised when they go through our cd's and see what kind of 'crazy' music we listened to back in the day of 2008, which by then will be sooooooooo long ago!

Here is  pic of the the aforementioned rocker parents!
