Photo Sesh

So we did a super quick photo session outside last night to get a photo to post on Facebook as our announcement. The whole fifteen minutes consisted of telling Sawyer
"don't wrinkle the photo"
"hold the photo with both hands and hold it out it front of you"
"but don't wrinkle it"
"okay turn it over, it's facing the wrong way"
"now it's upside down, turn it around"
"stop wrinkling it please"
"now smile"
"a real smile"
"open your eyes up so they aren't squinty"
 "that's too big of eyes"
"hold the photo back out towards me"
"look at me"
"stop wrinkling the photo"

You get the idea. It was a very long fifteen minutes. Somehow we managed to get a few keepers out of the thirty+ pics we took.

Below are our two faves.

But in the end we opted to post the one below because really how can you pass up that look of concern on his face?

We posted it with the words, "Does this mean I'm going to have to start sharing my toys next spring?" because anyone that knows Sawyer knows that sharing anything at all really is quite concerning to him!  He even thought the neighbors cat that came over this evening to say hello was really coming over to steal his toys. Looks like we are going to need to invest in some new toys for this little baby when it arrives!

Seriously love this - especially the upset picture :)

You are the SEVENTEENTH person I know to be pregnant in 2013. No joke. I am about dying over here that I am left out. Still, so so excited for you (and I read every word you said in that long post even if I didn't comment on it. Hope you are feeling better).

Super exciting! Love the pictures with Soy Boy - he'll be great at sharing his toys...it just takes practice and he'll have lots and lots of that!
Glad to hear things are on the upswing for feeling better. I honestly can't imagine not being able to even sleep from nausea. Yuk! What mothers go through for their babies! :)

Very cute idea! Congrats too... I've heard number two can be totally different from our firsts. :)
